Ką reiškia kasos vėžys 4 stadija?

Kasos vėžio 4-oji stadija, mediciniškai dar vadinama toli išplitusia (angl. Distant) liga, reiškia, kad vėžinės ląstelės nukeliavo toli nuo pirminio naviko kasoje ir įsitvirtino kituose organuose. Dažniausiai tai būna kepenys, plaučiai arba pilvaplėvė.

Tai yra vėlyviausia ligos fazė, kurioje gydymo tikslas dažniausiai keičiasi iš visiško išgydymo į paliatyvųjį – siekiama suvaldyti simptomus, sustabdyti vėžio augimą ir pagerinti gyvenimo kokybę.

Statistika ir diagnozė

Remiantis naujausiais SEER (2015–2021 m.) duomenimis, 4-oji stadija yra pati dažniausia nustatoma kasos vėžio diagnozė.

Rodiklis Statistinis skaičius
Atvejų dalis diagnozės metu 51 % pacientų sužino diagnozę tik šioje stadijoje.
5-erių metų santykinis išgyvenamumas 3,2 %.
Bendras vidurkis (visų stadijų) 13,3 %.

Galimas gydymas: jums gali būti paskirta chemoterapija, tam, kad vėžio augimas būtų pristabdytas. Jums taip pat gali būti paskirtas gydymas simptomų mažinimui. Kasos vėžys gali būti ir neoperajuomas.

Kodėl 4 stadija tokia klastinga?

Pagrindinė priežastis, kodėl 51 % atvejų aptinkami tik vėlyvoje stadijoje, yra simptomų trūkumas. Kasa yra giliai pilvo ertmėje, todėl navikas turi užaugti pakankamai didelis arba užspausti tulžies latakus, kad pasirodytų pirmieji ženklai (pvz., gelta, nugaros skausmas ar staigus svorio kritimas).
